EMC Engineer

Responsibilities

  • Handle testing for EMC/OTA projects and interact with the client. Coordinate testing with other disciplines within the laboratory.
  • Discuss technical details with customers in the early stages of manufacturer
  • Perform product assessment and complete verification of samples, including generation of test reports.
  • Perform validation, maintenance and supervision of complex test systems.
  • Involvement in international standards for testing wireless devices, approval processes and certification bodies.
  • Other duties related to setting-up, trouble shooting of samples and test equipment.
  • Supervise the Test System Operators/Technicians and Associate Engineers.
  • Responsible for the proper schedule of his/her project and coordinate with other projects if necessary.
  • Assist the Director in evaluating the training need of the employees under his supervision.

Requirements

  • Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering or Related Fields or Equivalent Experience in EMC/Antenna testing of wireless device.
  • Project management skills. Must be able to work on several projects simultaneously.
  • The capability to work with minimal supervision as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
  • Possess a strong work ethic and desire to get the job done.
